Ready to go Trick-or-Treating! |
Dear Friends and Prayer Warriors,
We are truly thankful that you're on the journey of faithfulness with us! The Lord has already blessed us beyond what we could have imagined, and you're a part of that. If it wasn't for your fervent prayers and generous giving, who knows where we would be?
In the five years that we've been on the mission field, our blog has been ready over 17,000 times (and that doesn't include you folks who read it in your preview pane!) The blog isn't going away, but over the last 5 years technology has come a long way. Usually Meredith and I are slow to change. (We got our first smart phones this year.) Recently, Facebook added a feature that allows users to Go Live and post live streaming video. Meredith has used it some with her LuLaRoe business, and I ran a test run on Friday on my own wall just to see how it works. Would you believe over 300 people have now watched me make applesauce? If you're one of them, I'm sorry if I wasted 5 minutes of your life playing with this feature, but it's pretty neat.
Sometimes, a three minute video can convey an hours worth of text, so we're going to try doing some live updates in a new Facebook group called
Until The Nets Are Full as another way to keep you updated on what's going on in our life and ministry. If you want to participate, the link to the group is
https://www.facebook.com/groups/213961009029582/
Or, you can email me and let me know you want to join us, and I can add you to the group.
Our first live update will be this Friday night at 6pm, and it should be short and sweet. If you can pop-in and join us, we'd love that.
If you're not using Facebook, no worries. The blog will continue to regularly inundate your inbox just the same as it always has.
Blessings to you all!
Daniel
