Moving forward...

Friday evening at the Davy Crockett Birthplace State Park.  The cabin in the backdrop is the birthplace.
Dear Friends and Prayer Warriors,

Thank you so much for the prayers and the outpouring of support for Josh and Rebecca.  They sincerely appreciate it.  I'll keep you posted as they get new information so you can continue to lift them up.

We're steady into routine in our household.  With all the bad weather, the Storehouse ministry has been steady by jerks the last couple of weeks.  The most exciting thing looming is the start of our first Bible Training Center for Church Leaders (BTCL) class, which will be a combination of bible study methods with specific application to preaching.  Presently, our first class is set to meet a week from Saturday, March 23, at 9am.  This is a milestone in our in ministry, so please pray that the gentlemen actually come, that I have prepared well, and that the Holy Spirit blesses our time together.

Meredith is finishes up her job in Asheville March 25th, which is hugely exciting for us because the long drive has become an increasing challenge.  She has applied for a medical license with the TN medical board.  Lord willing she will begin working one day a week at Gracepointe Counseling in Johnson City in April.  She's very excited about joining a faith-based practice, where she'll have more opportunities to share her faith and the gospel, as well as to encourage other believers who're struggling through hard times.

Lily is a delight.  She continues to put smiles on the faces of everyone she meets.  We could not have been blessed with a more pleasant child, and we are truly thankful!

Things you can be praying for this week:

1:  Please pray for my preparation for the upcoming BTCL class.  I've never taught this content exactly before, and everyone understands the importance of first impressions.  I'm confident the Lord will be gracious to me, but your prayers are very much appreciated.

2.  Please pray for Meredith's work transition.  We're still waiting on the TN medical board to approve her license, and praying that happens in the next couple of weeks.

Cold.  The wind chill was in the teens, which shortened our fun on the snow day.

But we did get to try out our new sled!

The snow was still lingering on first Thursday.  We were still blessed to serve quite a few families, cold or not.

Friday was the first sunny day in almost two weeks.  Meredith was at a sleepover for her Wednesday night GA group, so daddy and Lily headed out to the park!

Lily saw some men with fishing poles and asked what they were doing.  I told her they were trying to catch some fish.  She immediately found a stick and headed over to the water saying "I want to catch some fish too, daddy!"

Driving the bus "to pick up Justin", our neighbor who rides the bus to school.

"It's a little house dad!"  Indeed, it was the birthplace of Davy Crockett.
