Dear Friends and Prayer Warriors,
One of the first things Gene said to me when I asked him what he hoped would happen at West Hills was that he hoped to hear children laughing in the church again. We've been praying the Lord would send some young families to join us, and he's begun to answer that prayer. Yesterday was Homecoming, and we had a record crowd of 32, of whom 11 were kids. The kids did a music special, and there was plenty of laughter all around during the fellowship meal following the service. Praise the Lord!

Over the next 6 weeks we're going to be hosting mission groups to help build the garden and to begin to renovate parts of the church building and give it a fresh look. Significant outreach plans begin in August.
Thank you for praying faithfully for the Lord's guidance and provision. We wanted to let you know He's listening!
